The app allows you to read the battery level of both your helmet and remote. If you have not paired your helmet with the Lumos App yet, please read this article first.
To get the battery level of your helmet, open the app, turn on your helmet and the app gives you the battery reading of the helmet.
To get the battery level of your remote (Lumos Remote), you need to press either one of its buttons to activate the remote and the updated battery level is displayed on the Dashboard.
Note: It may take some seconds to connect and update the battery life on the Dashboard.
Note 2: The app is not able to show the remaining battery life of the Remote Lite.
Do you only get 3 stripes?
If your helmet is on, then you may want to check if your helmet is paired correctly to your app. You can do this in the app:
- Open the Help Center by tapping the Help Center icon on the bottom of your screen.
- In the Helmet Status section find ‘Lumos Helmet Pairing’.
- If it shows 'Pair Helmet’, tap that and follow the on-screen instructions. If it displays 'Unpair Helmet', it means your app and helmet are already successfully paired.
If you do not get the battery level of the remote, you also need to verify that the remote is paired to the helmet. Read more about the pairing process in this article.
